Wire rope slings have been used extensively for years and were once the industrial lifting sling of choice. Wire rope slings, sometimes referred to as wire cable slings are more robust and durable than nylon slings and also have higher temperature limits.
Wire rope slings with an independent wire rope core (IWRC) can withstand contact and exposure temperatures up to 400 degrees (F). Wire cable slings with fiber cores should never be exposed to temperatures in excess of 180 degrees (F). Wire rope slings of all types should never be used at temperatures below -40 degrees (F). Wire rope rigging slings with fiber cores (FC) are rated at reduced capacities when compared with an equivalent size, wire choker with an independent wire rope core (IWRC). They are generally fabricated from 6 x 19 or 6 x 37 construction wire cable. The constructional numbers refer to the number of strands (6) that are helically wound around a core. The core supports the strands of the wire rope lifting sling and can either be an independent wire rope core (IWRC) or a fiber core (FC) made from hemp or sisal. Smaller diameter wire rope slings feature 6 strands with 19 wires in each strand. Larger diameter industrial lifting slings will generally feature 6 strands with 37 individual wires in each strand. The 6 x 37 construction is more flexible than the 6 x 19 construction, but not as abrasion resistant.
Wire cable lifting slings used by the crane, rigging and material handling industries are available in many different styles and constructions to meet your needs. Custom made slings and special order slings are shipped daily from our factory. The most popular wire lifting slings are Single Body slings featuring a 6 x 19 or 6 x 37 Construction, Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS) Wire Rope with an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC). These slings are sometimes referred to as wire chokers, Permaloc wire rope slings, wire cable slings, Flemish eye slings, single leg slings, eye and eye slings or eye & eye slings due to the loop or eye that is formed on each end of the wire sling.
Chain slings are the most common type of sling used in lifting and rigging. Chain slings are used for lifting heavy items on construction sites such as: skip bins, concrete slabs, pipes, building materials etc. Chain slings are made up of lengths of high tensile chain, with a variety of high tensile components attached. The chain and components are classified as Grade 120, Grade 100 and Grade 80.
High tensile chain slings have many advantages, they are strong and reliable, flexible, and easy to sling around different loads. They are also custom made to order, depending on the requirements of the application. High tensile chain slings have a high “size to working load limit” ratio – meaning a small chain sling can lift heavy loads. Shortening hooks are available on any type of chain sling, meaning one chain sling can be purchased and shortened for use at different lengths.
Chain slings are available in one, two, three and four leg configurations. They are available in lengths from 0.5 meters to 10 or more meters. Chain and components range in sizes from 6mm – 20mm. There are various components available to make up the chain sling, including: head rings or oblong links, couplers or hammerlocks, self-locking hooks, sling hooks, and shortening hooks.
A flat web sling is also often referred to as a variety of names such as lifting strap/strop, belt sling, polyester lifting sling, flat sling, flat webb lifting sling and a belt webbing sling, woven slings, webbing slings to mention just a few. Some time wrongly referred to as nylon lifting slings. Soft slings like this are either made as Duplex / Simplex flat web sling or as endless round slings, both are made from the same core materials.

Valued as first among the first among the best, we are instrumental in presenting the best grade of Chain Pulley Block. Fabricated by using modern machinery, the chain pulley blocks are known for their excellent strength, optimum load carrying capacity and rugged construction. Rendered by us in various technical specifications, the quality of chain pulley blocks is never compromised.
Pulley blocks are nothing more that grooved wheels on a fixed axle onto which passes a continuous length of wire rope. A pulley block is a classic example of as a mechanical device that changes the direction or magnitude of a force by virtue of the principle of ‘mechanical advantage’.Pulley blocks are generally employed as a set of two or more sheaves, with rope or cable threaded between them through grooves. The entire assemblage – block, the ropes or cable and the load to be lifted – comprises the pulley system. As the number of pulleys increases, so does the mechanical advantage.
We offer wire rope pulley blocks of single, double, triple and four sheave which cater to load carrying capacity from 1ton to 100tons. Typically wire rope pulley blocks have drop forged swivel eyes on top and C.I casted pulleys or steel pulleys. The swivel eye provides dynamic rotation and allows positional adjustment for the hook. A swivel eye pulley can be mounted on a rod, bolt, shackle, etc. Additionally, the eye of a swivel eye pulley can slide over pipes, bolts, rods.
A heavy chain used for holding a vessel at anchor. The total length of chain is to be divided in approximately equal parts between the two bower anchors. The inboard ends of the chain cables are to be secured to the ship’s structure by means which enable, in case of emergency, an easy slipping of the chain cables to sea.
When it coems to recovering your vehicle or another for that matter you should always be very cautious and take safety steps. If you are using a snatch strap make sure there is an air break in place on the strap, this can be a wet towel, shirt , recovery bag or anything in the car that can lie over the strap, this is to stop the strap flying everywhere if it were to break. When you secure the D-Shackle make sure it is put onto the correct tow point so as not to damage the vehicle and if anyone is watching the recovery make sure they are well clear of the area.
Turnbuckle used primarily for assembly or stretched wire rope, tying steel wire rope, tie rod, wire rope follow the horizontal or vertical direction.
There are many different kind of turnbuckle We supply all the turnbuckles. We can provide the large type and special type as request of customers.
Machinery Eye Bolts are high strength bolts for heavy duty applications. Eye bolts provide a method for anchoring chain and wire rope to a fixed surface such as wood, metal, concrete, etc. Forged galvanized steel material is extra strong and recommended for exterior applications.
These clamps are ideal for emergencies repairs to steering cables, pennants or other wire-rope connections but can be used for more permanent wire-rope connections. Available in galvanized steel or 304 stainless steel to provide additional corrosion resistance, each clamp is sized to match specific wire diameter for improved grip. Two stainless steel clamps are required to provide a secure connection in most applications; use three clamps when using galvanized clamps. See the installation guide below for detailed instructions. Take along wire-rope clamps in sizes that match the cable on your boat and be prepared in the event of an emergency.
Maintains and extends the life and performance of wire rope by providing a nondrying film on the outside of the wire rope. This film protects wire rope from corrosion while lubricating the inner strands, drums and sheaves.
2-component casting compound for the socketing of wire ropes in conical end fittings. Can be used for all types of wire ropes, giving 100% breaking load efficiency of the rope.
